Stelwood®
Steel Tile Anchor Floor Plate are engineered to extend the
life of new concrete and to provide the ultimate in long life flooring.
They eliminate the expense of dry shake toppings, control joints and
finish toweling in new construction. Ideal for use in aisleways
subjected to heavy and constant forklift use. May also be used as
a transition at overhead door exits.
These extremely strong, but lightweight steel tiles are embedded into a
level concrete sub-base. Their unique design and all metal floor armor
surface help prevent wear and tear to the concrete, thereby diminishing
costly and time consuming slab repairs.
In renovation, steel tile floor armor element are ideal for replacement
of plain or
dry-shaked surface hardened concrete, epoxy or polymer flooring,
particularly in areas of heavy rolling traffic, abrasion or high
temperature around annealing ovens or autoclaves.
Made from 11 gauge hot-rolled steel stock,
they withstand abuse from heavily loaded vehicles, steel wheeled
dollies, castings, wire and cable reels, dropping load impacts and
scraping of heavy racks and containers in heavy duty industrial
applications.
Stelwood Steel Tiles are 12" x
12" square, with a 1" formed flange on all sides. Each floor plate
has
53 projections to anchor it securely into a concrete bedment. This
results in the solid foundation of a concrete floor with the added
advantage of a durable, damage resistant steel surface. In use
around the world, Stelwood
Floor Armor Elements are in stock for immediate shipment or export.
